What is a Breast Lift?
For many women, the shape as well as the size of their breasts are of particular importance. Today, women who are bothered by sagging breasts as a result of pregnancy, weight loss, or the aging process can be helped by a surgical technique known as a breast lift or mastopexy. This surgical procedure is specifically designed to lift and reshape the breast to a more youthful and rounded appearance. The size of the nipple and surrounding areola (dark pink skin around the nipple) can be simultaneously reduced as the breast is lifted.
It is important to understand that a breast lift procedure will not enlarge the size of the breasts. Therefore, the mastopexy procedure may be performed in conjunction with breast implants to provide a fuller appearance to the upper portion of the breasts as they are lifted.

Plastic Surgery Financing
Some people rely on health insurance to cover the costs of surgery, but in actuality, if you are getting surgery for cosmetic purposes, the chances of being covered are slim. Generally, health insurance will not cover the costs of surgery or any related expenses and most people that seek plastic surgery are not able to pay the full amount upfront. Because of this, My Plastic Surgeon USA offers plastic surgery financing options to make covering these costs feasible.

Most Botox Users Are Working Moms
Starlets and superstars aren't the typical users of Botox, says the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Most Botox users are middle-aged working mothers in their 40s and 50s, according to a new ASAPS survey. The most frequently cited reason in the survey was "to look more relaxed, less stressed."

Who does Liposuction benefit?
There are some important things to keep in mind about Liposuction and its candidates. Most doctors will recommend Liposuction after a person has tried to lose as much weight as possible. The best candidates being both men and women who are not excessively overweight.
People who are in good shape, with firm expandable skin but with stubborn pockets of fat in certain areas, those who are physically healthy and have realistic expectation in reference to plastic surgery are the prime candidates for Liposuction.
Remember Liposuction is not a weight loss solution, it is best used when body contouring problematic areas that don't respond well to diet and exercise.

Breast Reduction May Be Your Answer
Although larger breasts may be coveted by many women, there is still a large population of women who complain about the size of their breasts being too large and problematic - and they seem to think that nothing can be done about it.
But there is. Breast reduction surgery is very common and a huge relief in the way it impacts the lives of women who get the procedure done.
You might think that you're not eligible, but you'd be surprised at who is eligible for breast reduction surgery. First thing you want to ask yourself, are your breasts fully developed? Most doctors will say women stop developing at around the age of 18. Many girls have large breast problems early on in life, as they go through puberty and adolescence. So it's important to make sure they're fully developed. Next ask yourself, do your breasts cause you to have pain in your back? Do your breasts cause you to have pain in your neck? Are your breasts physically uncomfortable? Are your breasts not proportionate to your body size? If you can answer yes to these questions, then you are definitely a candidate for breast reduction surgery.
My Plastic Surgeon USA has Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who would love to help you in your need for a normal, healthy and back and neck pain free life. Visit My Plastic Surgeon USA.

Preoperative Computer Imaging
Along with advances in cosmetic surgical techniques have come improvements in plastic surgeons' abilities to communicate with their patients. One tool for aiding in such communication has been new computer hardware and software that allows a physician to photograph a patient and modify their image on the computer screen.
By doing so, a surgeon can show a patient an image of a reasonable outcome of a cosmetic procedure. It also gives a patient the opportunity to show a doctor what they like and dislike about their current features or a proposed outcome.

Breast Enhancement Pills Not Effective
It's easy to be lured in by claims of natural breast enhancement, whether through pills or specific exercise programs. Who wouldn't want to avoid going under the knife and pay thousands of dollars to get the breasts you always wanted? It would be so easy to pop a few pills and do a few exercise routines and in weeks you sprout beautiful new breasts.
But the truth is, it's easy for the pill manufacturers to make these claims because when it comes to herbal, homeopathic supplements, you don't need to have the FDA back it up. These companies don't need to make FDA approved data backed claims, they can say they do research and studies and throw out all the patient testimonials they want, all without the FDA's approval.
Remember the FDA takes their work very seriously, and their claims aren't to be taken lightly and without that kind of back up, who knows what the truth is.
But there is one truth. That we are dictated naturally by our genes. And if you're genes are getting you down, and you want that body you've always wanted, visit My Plastic Surgeon USA to find the right Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for you. Start your path to a new, beautiful you.

Techniques for Breast Reduction
There are multiple techniques used for breast reduction, but the most common is an anchor-shaped incision. This follows the natural curve, or shape of the breast. This incision will outline the area of where the breast skin will be removed, and also will identify the new location of your nipple. When the excess skin is removed, the nipple and areola are repositioned to the elevated position. The skin is then brought down and reshapes the breast. In some cases, your plastic surgeon will use liposuction to remove extra fat from the armpit area. Also, in some cases, where the breasts are very large, the nipples and areolas may have to be completely removed. This does result in loss of sensation in the nipple and areola tissue.

BOTOX parties a bad idea
In a press release by the ASAPS (The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) they want to raise awareness about the dangers of unlicensed personnel performing medical cosmetic procedures in non-clinical settings such as BOTOX and other tissue fillers at shopping malls, beauty salons or in their own homes.
There is huge concern over unlicensed or untrained personnel giving these injections and performing these procedures in non-clinical settings. Cosmetic procedures, including tissue filler injections, laser therapies, chemical peels and skin resurfacing, should only be done under the care of properly credentialed and trained medical professionals using only products approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

About Botox
Botox is a very simple 10 minute non surgical procedure. Your plastic surgeon will administer numerous small injections of Botox into the muscles that cause frown lines between the brow. Your plastic surgeon will choose, based on his or her examination, where to inject the Botox. As with every plastic surgery procedure, every patient is different. The location and size of the muscles that cause frowns are different on every patient. There is typically very little discomfort and it is typically always very short. There is no recovery time needed, and the results can last up to 4 months. You typically will begin to see the results of the procedure within a couple days.

The Right Filler is Key to Successful Treatment
Fillers are commonly used to treat facial lines and wrinkles, hollow cheeks, receding chins, thinning lips and wrinkles between the eyes. Other procedures such as laser rejuvenation, which can improve the skin's tone and texture, and botulinum rejuvenation, which can relax the muscles that cause wrinkling, can do many things to improve a person's appearance. However, they cannot address the loss of volume that happens with aging. Only fillers can increase the skin's volume, much like putty fills a crack.
Selecting the proper filler is an important part of the process. Some fillers are intended for superficial wrinkles and some work best for deeper wrinkles. Others are better for deep cheek hollows and facial lipoatrophy, the severe facial fat loss that can happen to people who are HIV-positive.

What are the choices of implant positions?
The easiest surgical placement of the implant is under the breast tissue (submammary).
A slightly more difficult surgical placement is under the chest muscle (submuscular or subpectoral) but this position is associated with a lower incidence of capsule contracture and slightly less occurrence of rippling. There is more pain postoperatively than with a submammary placement.

Dr. Gary D. Hall
"In my Plastic Surgical practice I strive to deliver what the patient desires in a safe, timely and comfortable manner. Education and care of the patient is of utmost importance for the entire office staff.
The care of the patient in my office begins with the first consultation and does not end until the patient is fully recovered and satisfied. I believe surgery should only be conducted by someone fully trained and qualified.
That is why I have taken the years to complete a 5 year General Surgery Residency, a 2 year Plastic Surgery Residency and a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. I have also acquired Board Certification in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery as well as advanced certification in laser and endoscopic surgery.
Few cosmetic surgeons in the nation have acquired this amount of training, certification and experience."
