Rhinoplasty - How long does the surgery take?
Nose surgery usually takes 1-2 hours, but some procedures, depending on how complicated, can take up to several hours. Your plastic surgeon will separate the skin of the nose, from it supporting structure of bone a cartilage. After this is done, the plastic surgeon will sculpt the desired shape of your nose. This is very much on a case by case basis, as every patient will have different needs. The skin is then placed over the new structure your plastic surgeon created.

Always Check for Board Certification!
How important is Board Certification?
It is critical!
You should never go into any doctor blind, you should always do your research especially when it concerns your health and beauty. Because plastic surgery is an elective procedure and one that deals with your looks, it's easy for people to be timid and not ask around when doing research.
As reported by People and Fox News, Priscilla Presley released a statement in which she tells the story of how she was a victim of a fake plastic surgeon. Not only was he not Board Certified, he wasn't even a real doctor and he was using injectables that were unapproved by the FDA.
Board Certification is important not only because is states the obvious that the surgeon in question is in fact a real surgeon so you would never find yourself questioning whether or not he's set up to practice, it also proves that the surgeon has dedicated himself to a standard of quality care and excellence.
For more information about Board Certification our sister site Breast Implants USA has a great article on the subject.
It is crucial that the Plastic Surgeon you're considering is Board Certified. All of our plastic surgeons on My Plastic Surgeon USA are board certified so you can go about your research on that dream body you've been wanting without the extra worry that your surgeon is a fake.

How is a Tummy Tuck Performed?
Your plastic surgeon will make an incision from hipbone to hipbone. This is done right above the pubic area. A second incision is then made to free the navel from the surrounding tissue. With partial abdominoplasty, the incision is much shorter and the navel may not be moved, although it may be pulled into an unnatural shape as the skin is tightened and stitched.
A full abdominoplasty will take anywhere from 2-5 hours. A partial abdominoplasty usually will take less than 2 hours.

So What Happens After a Liposuction?
After surgery. Your recovery. A New You.You will experience some fluid drainage from the incisions made by your plastic surgeon. In some cases, your plastic surgeon may insert a small drainage tube, to prevent fluid build up. To prevent swelling, it may be recommended for some type of surgical elastic garment.
Before you leave, you plastic surgeon will give you instructions on exactly what you can and can not do. To answer a couple common questions, your plastic surgeon will direct you on how to change your dressings, how to shower, and how to be most comfortable. Your stitches will be removed, or dissolve, usually within 10 days. You should be back to work within a couple days, but still with minor pain and discomfort.

Facelift Techniques
Plastic surgeons use different approaches for facelift, depending on your bone structure and there technique. The location of the incision will also depend on your bone structure, but will be discussed with you during your consultation. Some plastic surgeons will complete one side of the face first, and then move on to the other side, and other plastic surgeons will move back in forth between the sides. This is dependent on the surgeon's technique.
Your plastic surgeon will typically make incisions above your hairline near the temples, extend it to the front of the ear, and continue to the rear of the earlobe to the lower scalp. If your case requires work on the neck, the plastic surgeon may also make an incision below the chin. The plastic surgeon will then separate the skin from both the fat and the muscle. The plastic surgeon will then tighten, after removing the fat, will tighten the main muscle and membrane, pull the skin back and then remove the excess skin. Stitches then secure the layers of tissue, and the incisions are closed. Depending on your specific case, metal clips may be used on the scalp.

Women's Self-Image and Sexual Satisfaction Increase After Cosmetic Surgery
Body image and sexual pleasure, including orgasm, enhanced after aesthetic makeoversAccording to a study done by Aesthetic Surgery Journal, data from a study shows the impact of aesthetic plastic surgery on body image and sexual satisfaction. Women who undergo common elective cosmetic surgery procedures not only feel better about their bodies, but also have higher degrees of satisfaction with their sex lives, including ability to orgasm. Women in the study who had undergone aesthetic procedures were more sexually satisfied, reported that their partners were more sexually satisfied, dressed to enhance their new figures, and were apt to try more and different sexual activities post-surgery. The greatest benefits were seen in women who had breast augmentation/breast lift and/or body contouring procedures.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A)
Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a non-surgical procedure performed that temporarily reduces frown lines, creases in the forehead, "crows feet" in near the eyes, and thick bands in the neck area. Botox makes your skin smoother, with a more refreshed look. It temporarily prevents the muscles that actually cause wrinkles by blocking the nerve impulses. Botox is also very effective, as found out through studies, to relieve migraine headaches, muscle spasms and even extreme sweating. Most patients are between the ages of 18 and 65 years old and both men and women are good candidates for Botox. It is also important to note that Botox is the only treatment of it type that is approved by the Food and Drug administration(FDA). The entire procedure typically takes no more than 10 minutes, and there is no recovery time needed.
