Liposuction (Lipoplasty)
Liposuction is an elective surgical procedure where unwanted fat deposits are removed through vaccuum suction. A tube is inserted under the skin, above the muscle, where unwanted fatty deposits rest. The fat is then sucked out from under the skin, leaving the area smooth and flat. There are different techniques that can be used for this plastic surgery procedure, including tumescent technique and the ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty.
