What is Breast Augmentation?
Breast Augmentation (Augmentation Mammoplasty) is a surgical procedure performed in order to increase the size and/or alter the shape of a woman's breasts through the use of breast implants. This plastic surgery procedure typically takes anywhere from 1-2 hours. Most patients are back to work in a few days. By inserting an implant behind each breast, surgeons are able to increase a woman's breast size by one or more bra cup sizes.
