But as society puts more pressure on everyone to look their best, more and more men are looking to board certified plastic surgeons to help them achieve the body of their dreams. Using body lift procedures, your surgeon can remove the excess skin from the thighs, back, hips and buttocks. An arm lift is designed to remove the same sagging skin from the upper arm region. These procedures can produce amazing results and really put the finishing touches on a person’s weight loss journey.

Facial Rejuvenation with BOTOX Injections

In the battle against signs of aging, BOTOX has become one of the most popular weapons in a plastic surgeons arsenal.  BOTOX  is used to treat a number of facials signs of aging including fine lines, wrinkles, and crows feet. While BOTOX is not a permanent solution to bothersome signs of aging, regularly scheduled treatments can keep you looking years younger.

Botulinum toxin, or BOTOX, works by temporarily weakening the muscles which cause wrinkles. BOTOX is most commonly used to treat wrinkles in the forehead, frown lines between the eyes and the “crow’s feet” areas around the eyes. The selection of injection points is critical to the success of the procedure. Your BOTOX professional will determine the best injection points for each location to be treated. These points may not be located on the wrinkle itself, but at the area where the muscle contracts.

The first step in achieving facial rejuvenation through BOTOX injections is schedule a consultation with a skin care professional. Your surgeon will help you determine if BOTOX or another dermal filler will produce the results you desire. In some cases, your surgeon may suggest a more invasive procedure such as a face lift to achieve the rejuvenation results you desire.

Recovering From Abdominoplasty – What to Expect After a Tummy Tuck

During your abdominoplasty consultation your board certified plastic surgeon will explain what you can expect before during and after your procedure. Recovering from abdominoplasty takes time and it is important to follow the directions given to you by your surgeon very closely. Here are a few things you can expect during recovery from tummy tuck surgery.

Upon waking up from the procedure, you will feel very groggy and your abdomen will be swollen. It is important that if you feel any discomfort you take your pain medication. Waiting until the pain is unbearable will only slow the healing process and may actually require you to take more pain medication to get the pain to subside. As time passes the pain and swelling will go down. After a few days the swelling should be almost gone and you should be left with some bruising.

You will be given direction as to what you can and shouldn’t do in the weeks after surgery. It is important to follow these directions even if you feel ok to limit the risk of post-op complications. There will be restrictions on movement, directions on showering and changing the dressings and how and when to take medications. My Plastic Surgeon USA can not stress enough the importance of closely following your surgeons directions. Doing so will not only lower the risk of complication but also give you the fastest recovery time.

The details of all post op care will be explained thoroughly before your procedure giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and address any concerns you may have. Abdominoplasty is a serious surgery. It is important to remember that recovery takes time.
