Dr. David Whiteman is a Double Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon (United States and Canada). He has been practicing Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Atlanta, GA since 1993 and maintains privileges at many nationally accredited hospitals & surgical centers throughout Atlanta. Dr. Whiteman is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Gwinnett Medical Center (Duluth & Lawrenceville).

Dr. Whiteman prides himself on keeping up to date with surgical techniques and skills, allowing him to confidently perform several different kinds of surgical procedures. At Southern Plastic Surgery in Duluth, Dr. Whiteman specializes in breast surgery, such as breast augmentation with silicone or saline implants, breast lifts, breast reductions (including male breast reductions), and reconstructive procedures. Patients can also choose from a wide range of treatments, including full and mini facelifts, a variety of laser peels, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, liposuction, tummy tucks and body contouring.

He also performs a number of non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox® & facial filler injections (Restylane®, Juvéderm™ & Perlane®) and also offers cosmetic laser treatments to help patients in a variety of ways, including hair removal and tattoo removal. He uses 12 different FDA approved lasers, covering many different skin types.

Dr. Whiteman received his medical degree with the gold medal honors from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. He completed his residency at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Whiteman went on to complete his fellowship training at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in advanced techniques of cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.
